Richelle Garman
Richelle graduated from high school in 2006 and immediately pursued formal training in massage therapy. She completed her education at the Pennsylvania Myotherapy Institute (PMI) in November 2007. Prior to her graduation, she established her business—originally named Head to Toe Harmony—in February 2007. For the next 11 years, she operated her practice from her home and various other locations, during which time she built a strong and dedicated clientele.
In July 2018, Richelle purchased a building on Route 30 in New Oxford, which is now home to Holistic Harmony. The business was renamed to reflect its growth and expanded capacity to offer additional services beyond therapeutic massage.
In addition to being the owner and a licensed massage therapist, Richelle is also a certified colon hydrotherapist. In January 2016, she traveled to Florida to obtain certification in colon hydrotherapy and is currently the only practitioner offering this service in south-central Pennsylvania. Her professional focus is deeply rooted in personal experience, as she faced health challenges from a young age. The services offered at Holistic Harmony are those that contributed significantly to her own healing after traditional Western medicine did not provide effective solutions. She aspires to continue expanding the business in the future by offering additional services and products to further support the well-being of others.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Richelle is deeply committed to her family, which includes her husband, Chris, and their two teenage daughters, Ellamae and Lillian. The family enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle, including hunting, fishing, hiking, gardening, and caring for their animals while embracing farm life. Richelle’s personal interests include participating in weekly competitive volleyball leagues, cooking and baking while listening to music, maintaining a fruit and vegetable garden, food preservation through canning, sewing, and teaching her children essential life skills to promote independence and success. She hopes that, as they grow older, her daughters will become involved in the family business or pursue entrepreneurial paths of their own.
